Trainee Travel Consultant - Full Time

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working and adaptable person to be trained as a travel consultant.

Duties:
 

1. Assisting our clients with flight, hotel and other travel arrangements.
2. Contribute to the growth of the business by effectively and actively converting incoming inquries into sales.
3. Be able to work in a fast paced environment with each day different from the next.
4. Once trained, managing your booking & clients independently

The successful applicant will be:

1. A fast and willing learner of new systems and processes
2. Have a proven track record in sales and service
3. Have the ability to solve new or unfamiliar problems
4. Have the ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations
5. Have excellent time management skills and the ability to multi task
6. Warm, enthusiastic and helpful
7. Have great attention to detail – both in the work and in developing relationships
8. Be well travelled globally, preferably having travelled on a mission trip and or developing countries

This is a full-time consultancy role in our brand new Surrey Hills office. The trainee role will incorporate full training in travel industry reservations systems, middle office systems and sales and airfare training.
