With more than seventeen years of experience, Frank Scerri has been involved in every aspect of the travel industry, including retail management, brand management, business development and general management roles. In 1997, after more than 11 years with Flight Centre International, Frank founded his own niche travel business, Overseas Working Holidays, with operations in both Australia and New Zealand .
Frank went on to sell his Company to Flight Centre in 2000, and continued on as the General Manager, transforming the business model from retail to wholesale trade. Frank has had broad experience in start-up and turn-around businesses, financial management, strategy, and consultancy. Frank is also a director of the Oaktree Foundation. frank@missiontravel.com.au
Lisa Scerri has been involved in the travel industry for the past 17 years. Lisa's career has seen her work in retail travel, marketing, airfare negotiation, wholesale operations and public relations. Her greatest passion is building relationships with people and helping others to achieve their goals.
Lisa is the mother of 3 girls as well as a qualified naturopath. Her exposure to mission came on a corporate study tour to South Africa in 2004 with The Oaktree Foundation. The trip had a profound impact on Lisa and has since been a driving force in her life. This has resulted in greater involvement in aid & development as well as a deepening of her faith and willingness to serve God & the poor. Lisa is the Director of Operations at Mission Travel Services and is responsible for the travel management component of the business.
